Human Biology (Love 101 #2) by Lena Lucas

Blurb from Goodreads:

Control. Something I'd always had... until she walked into my life.

Curves that went on for miles. Lips pink and plump. A face that could bring a man--me--to my knees.

She was too young, too innocent.

She was mine.

Because of my position of power, being with Mary was out of the question.

Forbidden. Wrong.

I was her professor. She was my student.

I'd always prided myself on self-discipline, but Mary was my weakness, the one person I was willing to risk everything for. The one woman who I wanted to break the rules for.

So when the opportunity arose to make her mine, to claim that innocence for my own... I was never letting her go, damn the consequences.

Lena's Note: I know you like them fast and right to the point so don't worry, this one gives you all the goods with a forbidden romance trope! And it's got all the romantic filth to whet your appetite! Enjoy this good old-fashioned safe smut-fest.

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This was an alright read. This is book 2 of the Love 101 series. The story is a student-teacher romance. The story is a romance between Logan, the teacher, and Mary, the student. I thought the story was quite boring. It was not like most of the student-teacher books that I have read. The characters were good. I liked them, but I wished the story could have been longer so that I got to see what happened between them. Logan DeLuca is a Human Anatomy professor, and he instantly becomes infatuated with Mary. I would describe him as smart, sexy and protective. Mary is a student in his class and is also infatuated with him. I would describe her as witty and smart. The ending seemed a bit rushed. I wanted more content on what happened, and their happily ever after. I cannot wait to read the other books in the Love 101 series even though they are really short. Overall, an okay read.
